Welcome to the wacky world of my irrational and banged about brain. 

I would like to dedicate this to my left and right ovaries who I named Octavia and Olivia so that I wouldn't have total strangers running my life. The ovaries made me who I am today. A tattered and worn out shell of my former self. Just kidding. The fine, upstanding textile artist and handy pollyana that I have become.

I live in the beautiful city of Victoria and a few feet from my home is a view of the entire enormous city. I am really blessed to be here in BC's banana belt. We have flowers blooming even in November and December and I don't mean poinsettias. 

I am hoping to get on my bike before the weather starts getting of big bluster now that I am all tucked in from moving and am sort of hoping to find some interesting folks to go for walks or cycle with. I also enjoy blues, jazz and dancing till all hours of the night with some wonderful night owls or hanging occaisionally in the afterhours jazz clubs. (Do they still even exist?)

Humour is my weakness. Funny people get my attention over anyone who wants to rattle off 100 reasons that OCCUPY WALL STREET exists.  I believe in the 100% as a friend said today.

All encompassing love... not us versus anyone.

So, be warned, I am a TRIPPY ARTIST who isn't very traditional. I speak funny and at 6ft and enough junk in my trunk for it to be a constant source of vexation for me, I have great boobs tho, to balance it all out. I don't care if you think you need a ladder or a harpoon just keep it to yourself and we'll be fine. I truly enjoy the company of people who can exercise the agency that it takes to keep hurtful remarks from grazing my ears. I try to do the same.

Currently, I'm flogging resumes in the hopes that my recent BA pays off, but am also making a killing in the creativity department. As you get to know me, what I'm talking about will become more apparent.

So strap on your safety belt. This blog is going to be gutsy, wacky, anything I want it to be. And other than 'respect mon', there are no rules.
