Dear all, This is a local advertising slogan. I find it challenging and can say it’s my personal Mantra when things get rough and solutions are not readily visible. Thought I’d share, as we can never be reminded enough that it’s possible to be creative and use resources to our benefit. Hope some of you will find it inspiring. Cheers and take care. With only 7 notes we have created every piece of music in the world, With 26 letters we have written all books known to man, Only 10 algorithms and all problems can be solved, From 3 basic colours we have created millions of shades, And with 116 chemical elements we have constructed everything that exists. Knowledge multiplies. FUTURA – educational television network

Came across an article the other day that I found very enlightening.   Starting from the observation that opposites do seem to attract, the author divides people into groups of Givers and Takers and goes on from there explaining how our choices are probably responsible for many of our unsuccessful relationships. The good news is that he doesn´t leave it at that once you realize you´ve got a crooked finger! He gives you practical tips on how to slowly work your way to pointing straight. In short, it made a lot of sense to me and I thought it was worth sharing: http://ezinearticles.com/?Finding-Friendships-With-Like-Minded-People&id=2229620 Hope some of you will enjoy.

"I've traveled the world twice over, Met the famous; saints and sinners, Poets and artists, kings and queens, Old stars and hopeful beginners, I've been where no-one's been before, Learned secrets from writers and cooks, All with one library ticket." Although this is an anonymous quote, it has been true for me. And since all this is about opening up and sharing, I thought of keeping a blog of those experiences.  If you have suggestions for my Waiting List or want to comment on those, drop me a line or two… I'd really like that. Recently read: The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak The Accursed Kings, by Maurice Druon The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafón Currently Reading: The Angel's Game, by Carlos Ruiz Zafón (excellent!)
