I realize that this may be a challenging time for some people, but we can help these people. By bringing them into the fold so to speak ,and showing them kindness and understanding. Think about including them in some of your Christmas activities. Visit someone who is in a retirement home and may not receive to many visitors. Telephone that person who is living alone and see if they need anything.
There are so many wonderful opportunities all through the year to do the same thing.
Christmas time unfortunately seems to make people feel that they are alone, and it tends to make them sad rather then joyful.
We have many reasons to be grateful at this time, and counting these blessing can make us feel better.
Expressing our love for others is the great honor for being on this earth.
So in the new year les try to love and understand our fellowman even more.
A tall order you say, maybe but it is obtainable .when we are helping someone else, we are helping ourselves as well. Let this thought remain in our consciousness and then act on it,
I extend a peaceful and loving Christmas to you and your families.
Sincerely,
Marlene Maile
