Unless you have been in my shoes,  
I've been on paths I did not choose,
So do not judge what I may do,
For one day soon this could be you.   

Fortune has not been my friend,
Nor has my heart had help to mend,
Misfortune is never been far away
The scars I bear,too many to say.

Not many smiles are without a blade
And when you're down quickly fade,
So remember,to thine own self be true,
And be honest in all things you do.

This was for my daughter in law at their wedding in April.
 Shana Anne full of sweetness and grace,
The light of heaven glows in your face
On this day your happiest ever after,
May your days be full of joyous laughter.

Jesus our lord has joined your souls,
Together you each make up a whole.
Your lives belong together as one
Until your earthly days are done.

May you both be honest and true,
Honouring the other in all you do.
Speak not of any deceit nor lies,

When the moon sits on top of the trees
And the pines are carried on the breeze,
I'll remember the stars in your eyes,
That out sparkle those in the sky.

You defy nature with abundant beauty
And the Lord has surely done his duty,
For the years have not caught you,
And hatred runs off like morning dew.

Like a true princess you have grace
And compassion shines in your face,

Nor the heavenliness within your face.

I dream to see you by the still water
As moonbeams shine without faulter,
