Vancouver Olympics
It's been a no-snow zone at Cypress this winter. The resort was closed to the public on Jan. 13 so the Olympic freestyle skiing and snowboarding venues could be prepared. VANOC has even been trucking in snow from Manning Park.

"We've had World Cups in the middle of downtown Moscow where they've built scaffolding and put snow on a ramp and we've jumped," he said. "If they can do that at a World Cup with a much smaller budget, I'm sure they'll have no problem at Cypress."

Wow, all the snow is in Washington DC, I wonder if they can truck some up here.

Anyone in Vancouver wants to meet n make friends , meet up for a chat over coffee. Would be nice to meet ppl who are close to you, who lives in your area a person never knows until you step out of your comfort zone n try.. Summer just around the corner , would be nice to find a new friend .
