Hi everyone,
We seem to be a small group.

Interested in what's new with you, and if there are interests we have in common.

Tonight I participated in Toastmasters (public speaking) contest in Shawnessy (Far South Calgary). I was a judge since I wasn't skilled enough to speak at this contest.

Sumana won for her speech, and Larry won for his evaluation skills

Hi calgary area folks (want your news please, or message me personally)

I wonder what is happening to you. Hoping you will write something fun that happened recently, or send me a ladies' smile.

I enjoy cooking, and for variety I'm trying some of the restaurants in Okotoks. Tonight I dined at a greek restaurant, Yiannis' Salt & Pepper Restaurant.

On this Tuesday, I was the only customer when I entered. I ordered a Greek Platter, to get a taste of everything. When it arrived, there was enough food to share; eating alone I'm still full after 2 hours and a walk.

The meal arrived on a yellow dinner plate. Greek salad (green/orange/yellow bell peppers, feta cheese, black olives, red onion, lettuce). Lamb chop, chicken breast, crispy calamari, pastry with spinach inside, and a small bowl of garlic yogourt, and small spinach rolls (cheese filled).

Later, the owner showed me the dessert choices, and I picked a pecan pie slice. I was surprised by the weight of this slim piece of pie... yes it would have been better to share. This pecan pie was about 2cm (1 inch) thick, covered in pecans and chocolate fudge...definitely filling and tasty.

Do you recommend fine food feeders for others in our group? Help us feel better eating together please.

Hi,
You must have your photo on a hosting site like Flickr, Picasa etc

Right click on the photo, it opens a window with the URL displayed .
(http://tipypic xxx . jpg) for example

Highlight the URL (ie. hold the left button and drag mouse over entire URL)
in will then have a blue background.

Right click on it, click copy, then come to the forum, place pointer in message box right click, then click paste.

Highlight the Pasted URL again then click on Img at top of message box, when you click preview you should see your photo.

Best Regards,
David
