After a busy life of raising my family (4 children) I moved down from the shores of Georgian Bay to Guelph after my marriage dissolved 6 years ago. I am the proud "Oma" of 7 Grandchildren dispersed over Ontario. Family is important to me but so is trying to make a life for myself. I think that those closest to me would describe me as compassionate, helpful, sensitive, artistic and a good listener and perhaps a bit reserved. I prefer country over city life and enjoy the peacefulness in natural settings and small towns, but certainly do not turn away from what the City has to offer when I get the chance. Having lived in Europe for 22 years has made me well rounded and more of a big picture thinker.

Since I retired I live a quiet life, money and "stuff" are not that important to me anymore but friendship, love and caring for all that share this planet is. Eating healthy and staying fit take priority and I enjoy yoga, walking, biking, and working out on my elliptical machine. I am hoping to find a best friend and partner with some of the same mindset. We will not be here for a long time, so let us make it a good time.
